Three things to know
Arrow Detective is a mobile puzzle game. We do not require an account to start playing, and we do not ask you to submit your real name, phone number, address, contacts, photos, microphone data, or camera content.
When you watch an ad, use Google Analytics in the Android version, or actively tap “Sign in with Google,” the related data is processed by the applicable Google service as described here.
Data we process
| Local device data | Level progress, case and clue unlocks, achievements, hint and eraser balances, settings, player nickname, preset avatar and frame, and local leaderboard data. This supports game state and features and is not uploaded by default. |
|---|---|
| Gameplay analytics events | Events such as page views, level starts and ends, ad flows, hint or item use, achievements, and content selection, plus necessary parameters such as level IDs and durations. This helps us understand feature use, troubleshoot issues, and improve the experience. |
| Advertising data | Device or app identifiers needed for ad requests and delivery, approximate region inferred from IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics, and paid-revenue callback data. This supports delivery, frequency controls, fraud prevention, measurement, and service maintenance. |
| Google Sign-In data | Google/Firebase processes sign-in credentials and creates a Firebase UID only after you choose to sign in. The game uses the UID to associate player data and may sync your in-game nickname, preset avatar ID, and frame ID; it does not import or upload your Google profile photo. |
Current version boundary: The cloud leaderboard switch is currently off, so level-completion scores are not uploaded; the complete game save remains on the device. If cloud leaderboards or sync are enabled later, the release and its Google Play Data safety information will be updated.
How Google services participate
Google AdMob
AdvertisingAdMob delivers rewarded ads, interstitials, app-open ads, and a banner on the failure page. AdMob and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad impressions and clicks, app interactions, and diagnostics to deliver ads, prevent invalid traffic, and measure performance.
Whether ads are personalized depends on your region, consent status, device settings, and Google’s rules. You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings and make a choice in any consent options shown by the game.
Firebase Analytics
AnalyticsThe Android version uses it to measure pages, levels, achievements, items, and ad flows. The Firebase SDK may automatically process an app-instance identifier, device and app information, usage events, sessions, and diagnostics. Analytics failures do not block the game, and local leaderboard scores are not uploaded.
The browser preview and the current iOS version do not send these game events to this project’s Firebase Analytics.
Firebase Authentication / Google Sign-In
OptionalIt starts only after you tap “Sign in with Google.” Google verifies the account and Firebase creates and stores the identity association. The game never sees your Google password and does not use your Google email or profile photo as your game name or avatar.
After sign-in, the game may associate your Firebase UID with the nickname, preset avatar ID, and frame ID you choose in the game so your player profile can be restored. Cloud leaderboards are currently off, and sign-in is not required to play.
Firebase Functions / Firestore
Configuration-dependentIf a release enables player-profile sync, the server processes the UID, nickname, preset appearance IDs, and necessary request times after Firebase authentication. The client is not allowed to enumerate or modify other players’ private data.
The project retains a cloud-leaderboard design, but the client switch is currently off. The enabled scope is determined by the release you install and the update date shown on this page.
Each Google service is also governed by Google’s terms and privacy rules. Read Google’s Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from partner sites or apps, and Google Ads Settings.
These services may process data outside your country or region and apply the safeguards described in Google’s published privacy and security rules.
Permissions and device access
- The game needs a network connection to load ads, perform optional Google Sign-In, and send analytics events on Android.
- The game can use vibration feedback. Android’s vibration permission is used only for feedback and does not read other device content.
- The game itself does not request precise location, contacts, SMS, photos, microphone, or camera permissions.
- AdMob may infer an approximate region from an IP address; the game does not actively collect precise GPS location.
Storage, sharing, and deletion
How long data is kept
Local saves remain until you clear data in the game, clear the app’s storage in Android settings, or uninstall the game. Firebase Authentication, Analytics, and AdMob retention is determined by each Google service’s configuration and policies. We do not sell this service data or build unrelated personal profiles from it.
Who receives data
We use Google services only as needed for advertising, analytics, authentication, and profile sync when enabled by a release. Google may process data with advertising technology, service, and security partners under its policies. The game does not sell personal data or show your Google account information to other players.
How to delete data
You can clear local data in the game or clear the app’s storage in Android settings. Uninstalling the game removes local saves from the device. If you used Google Sign-In and want Firebase UID-linked data deleted, use the contact channel below; we will verify the request before processing it.
Your choices and rights
Can I play without signing in?
Yes. Core levels, cases, clues, achievements, and local leaderboards do not require Google Sign-In. Sign-in is an optional identity and profile-sync entry point.
Can I decline personalized ads?
Yes. Consent choices, where applicable in your region, and Google Ads Settings can affect personalized ads. Declining personalized ads does not affect core puzzles, but some ad rewards still require a complete available ad view.
Can I request access, correction, or deletion?
Yes. Tell us the game name, platform, request, and information that can verify the account. We will respond within a reasonable period. Requests about Google services can also be submitted through Google’s privacy tools.
If you are below the age of independent consent in your location, obtain a guardian’s permission before using Google Sign-In. The game does not actively ask you to provide identity documents, phone numbers, addresses, or other sensitive identity data.
Children and guardians
The game is not designed to collect children’s personal information and does not ask children for real names, contact details, or precise location. If a guardian believes a child provided identifiable information without consent, contact us below so we can verify and process a deletion request. Ads and consent flows will follow Google rules applicable in the release region.
Updates to this policy
When the game adds a Google service, changes a data purpose, enables cloud leaderboards, or changes advertising and consent flows, we will update the date at the top of this page and provide notice in the applicable release or Google Play listing. Continuing to use an updated game means you have read the updated policy.
Contact us
For privacy questions, data-rights requests, or deletion requests related to the game, use the developer contact listed on the Google Play app page. Before release, the operator must replace this instruction with a privacy email that will remain available.
